Running Route in Dumaguete???

Our family is preparing to spend our R&R in Dumaguete City this weekend, our first trip and adventure in the City of Gentle People. I am just trying my luck if somebody has info as to safe running route there, we will surely find time to run…

    Enjoy your R&R.

  2. annalene, you can jog along the seaside park or along their airstrip if they will allow you. my best bet is the seaside park. if you have time, go to siquijor island for more running routes as the roads do not have any traffic. enjoy your vacation!

  3. Use the ‘BayWALK’ version they have there. It’s more than a Kilometer from Siliman Ave. to Bethel Guest House. The main road, which is Rizal Blvd. is loaded with Motor Bikers. The seaside would be much better…nice view pa!

  4. Hi If you’re staying near the Bethel Guest House, you can run the Baywalk just in front going to Silliman grounds, just watch out for the motorbike, parang bees sa dami on the road..

    • Thanks for the info, Chito. But, we were already boarded when the captain announced that our flight to Dumaguete was cancelled due to bad weather in our destination. I hope we can re-book some other time.

  5. Hi Anna, yes we have 3-k, 5-k, 10k loop-routes we made for the local runners. We run every Sunday using this routes but with concreting of the roads the runners are using the 5k (2-loops) for 10k.

Just e-mail at ptyp2000@yahoo.com if you plan to book again for Dumaguete again.
