We joined the Takbo Para sa Kalikasan yesterday. There were 1,500 runners in the 5k category. I was not able to hear how many runners registered in the 3k and 10k, but they were many too. The race started at 6:03am and went on orderly despite slow start due to the volume at the starting point.
Since we were used to have the whole family in almost every race, I felt a bit sad as one of my sons was not able to join us because he had to stay overnight in the PAWS to do voluntary work as a requirement in his school.
After finishing our 5k, the family took the usual post-race breakfast at Mc Donald’s, this time in Kalaw. Then, we went straight to the Las Pinas Public Market to buy our seafoods stuff for the week.
