On March 20, 2011, I will be doing my second marathon through the TBR Dream Marathon. Again, I will be dreaming big to achieve the impossible in my life. I was lucky to be accepted by Jaymie, the TBR herself, as a substitute for Pie Chua who will not be able to run on that day. I cannot thank enough both Jaymie and Pie for this opportunity.
While preparing for the big day, I learned that there are several races and fun runs available for runners residing in the south. For one, the San Jose Fun Run can be an option. It will also be held on March 20, 2011 at the parking lot of the NorthGate Cyberzone. Assembly time is at 5:00 a.m. the kick-off time is 5:30 a.m. The participants will be provided with finisher’s tshirts. The organizers will provide water at the middle of the race route and at the finish line. The prizes are P3k-1st, P2k-2nd, P1k-3rd for each category (mens and ladies). By the way, the proceeds will benefit Project Brave Kids, Religious Mary Immaculate, and various outreach projects of San Jose Village Homeowners Association. Entry fees are P200 and P300 depending on the age of the participant. Interested runners may contact Dave Naval at 0920-9229825 or Donald Sison at 0917-8147376 for details.
