After running the best NB Power Race last week in Clark, the family went to MOA this morning to join the 6th Animo! Run. Well, it can also be rated as great with the good weather, ample supply of water and friendly student-marshals assisting the runners. However, i felt a little turn-off when they allow both 10K and 5K runners to check in together causing a bit of confusion. At any rate, the race organized by DLSU Running Club went on smoothly with 1,500 registered runners. They also provided finisher tshirts to top 50 finishers in each category and luckily the Unica Ija and I were among the recipients of these tshirts in the 5k ladies division.
Another enjoyable part of the event was the opportunity to meet runner-bloggers particularly the selfless men behind the takbo.ph. I felt a certain high when i was able to meet in person Jinoe (Manokan Express) & his lady love Queenie, Vener (run unlimited) and Christy, Eric (Shock_5), Archie, Jerry (High Altitude), Taki (Tech Spec) and Nora (Life Begins at 50) with her friend Jenny. Later in the morning, Taki and the Running Fat Boy also joined our group. Thanks for the nice time, guys!
